Personal Flight Plan
As a business owner or executive, you have some
resources in common with the pilot of an airplane.
A pilot has a sectional [map] with the desired course drawn on it. An executive’s “map” is the business plan. A pilot charts a course to a destination...coastal airport for a business lunch or a remote airport to camp out. An executive charts goals for the business... quality products and services, market share, satisfied customers and profitability. It’s easy to correlate a pilot’s map with a company’s business plan. What about the tools of a pilot...radios, instruments, weather forecasts? What parallels will you discover between piloting an airplane and “piloting” a business? |
