Why Coaching? Early on, Rose hired a professional coach. It was a remarkable experience that re-energized her and kindled the expansion of her business. The process was so intriguing that Rose soon trained as a coach. Today she is a highly credentialed Master Coach who trains and mentors many of her colleagues. Rose believes that this simple, powerful process of partnering with individuals to solve problems and navigate change points in their businesses and in their lives is some of the most rewarding work she’s done. Not only does she love flying, she sees the metaphors and parallels between piloting a plane and running a business – or developing and changing personally. Throughout my life, I have pushed the edges and challenged myself – by becoming a pilot, starting two businesses, by jumping out of an airplane at 10,000 feet to celebrate a birthday, by falling in love with dolphins and going on to facilitate retreats in Hawaii where others could get in touch with the majesty and mystery of these intelligent beings.
Recently, Peregrine, a wonderful Kiger Mustang entered my life, and together we are learning to navigate a deeper relationship. He joins my dear Darby, a Lhasa Apso, who has been my companion for many years. Together with my friends, colleagues and family, they are my inspiration for being curious about life, wanting to be an effective coach for others and loving to laugh – mostly at myself. |

In 1991 Rose Milbeck founded Flight Unlimited (formerly MRI Consulting Group), a business development company. With expertise in both business coaching and management consulting, Rose provides clients the resources to meet their immediate needs. She has assisted clients from manufacturing to high tech to foundations and other non-profits. She helps to clarify what’s working and what’s not, helps set priorities and identify the actions that move an organization from where it is today and helps position it to meet tomorrow’s challenges.
